Been doing an "old lady job" today.

Sadly the camera lens on my phone has seen far better days so could do a before and after.

Part of the job was an old bench. Wrought iron end pieces and hardwood lats, but it had seen better days, was rusty and covered in greenery.

Johnstone's to the rescue!

We gave it a good sand, 2 coats of woodworks rosewood QD satin to the timber and 2 coats of Jonnos smooth metal paint to the end frames - what a transformation!

30+ years I've been in this game, but I can still get job satisfaction and from the most unlikely of projects - and by using oddments left over from other jobs!

Happy days [WHITE SMILING FACE]

I say it is time you get a new phone or a pocket camera. A wonderful job on the bench but it may be charcoal for this weekend's barbeque, just saing... :huray:
