For me its a bad time. U2 have a new album out and suddenly the world goes into some sort of idol worshipping fever, songs on the radio evry 20 minutes, posters, newspapers, television..... its a living nightmare!!

Looked the other day as if they were ripping off the beatles playing on the roof top of capitol records, cheeky buggers, not even close to being in the same league!

This self proclaimed guitar god the edge, seems to only know about three chords but is often referred to as a great guitarist, jimmy hendrix would kick his arse playing right handed! All he`s done is created a sound basically using delay, and does not seem to move away from this sound probably for fear of being exposed.

Thing is tho, they have sold a hell of a lot of records and are probably in the top 5 biggest bands in the world, i just dont get it

dont rate Edge at all as a guitarist ,as you say Hendrix would wipe the floor with him playing with his wrong hand

think a lot of it is to do with Bono being a tree hugger type person as well

Led Zep ,Pink Floyd ,Hendrix etc are Legends not U2
