hey everyone :)
first time poster and visitor nice to meet you all
I just came across this forum when looking up thermostat replacement guides and figured id ask for some help

so recently I moved into my first home and thought hey what i need is a nice nest thermostat. make it seem like home ( i love all things tech)
so i ordered it and it arived I took my old thermostat off the wall and it confused me.
you can see here ( i took some phtos of the cabling and the old thermostat) that there are two cables both brown and its lost on me

any help would be greatly appreciated id love to get this bad boy fitted without having to pay £110 to get it done
i got it because looking at install videos i should have more cables in different colours and it looked straightforward. remove old one match up put new ones in job done

hoping someone can help :)

Do you have the heat link box?
That needs wiring in the control the boiler and pump, and these two wires would come from that to the fancy thermostat that goes on the wall.
