Hi

Going to fit some Wickes softwood doors however they are only trimmable upto 12mm and I need to trim 2 of the doors by about 25mm, is this possible ?
I have trimmed their moulded doors by more than recommended and just added a bit of timber afterwards, obviously I can't do that to softwood doors.

If you trim that much the door will likely look way out of proportion. Can you not just buy a smaller door so it requires less trimming?

you may have a presentable edge you may not no way off telling till you trim it
you may have mismatched timbers even different species or hollows or gaps
what tools do you have??
circular saw remove a 4-6mm lip off each side the reapply if required after shooting in assuming edge is fairly flat
