For the last couple of nights Avgfree has issued 6 warnings, saying that Mozzilla/FIREFOX/ARTWMF5N.DEFAULT/COOKIE.SQLITE, is a tracking cookie and a threat.

Any information from the experts.

Sorry about the caps, must look at what I'm doing in future.

Does it give any options to do anything?

I generally regard cookis as OK, depending on the site they're from and don't worry about them. You can get too paranoid about these things.

No AVG does whatever it wants

It was just it has never flagged up before, and then twice on the trot.

Should say Mozzilla have installed a couple of updates the last few days, could be linked. ::b

Scruff, this is just my personal preference but I'd remove AVG making sure to use the AVG removal tool as well then install either avast or Avira.

In firefox there is an option to not accept thridparty cookies and also do you clear your private data everytime you close the browser?

I also found AVG unreliable - Avast is much better as a free tool :-)
