How about approaching a couple of local schools?

They look like they could be quite good school woodworking projects.

You provide the wood and the first one made up, kids could make them, and you pay a bit of money into the school funds?

Need them for the winter coming in fast, I guess.

I cannot imagine they can be complicated to make.
Looks like 4 pieces of 2ft plank, one more for the hide roof and a 2 x 2 for the base. then the support for the lamp.

You need these supplied flat-pack probably?

I don't think that it's neccessarily that no one can do it, it's more likely not worth it for most at £23 a piece.
Whilst it's obviously quite a simple box structure, by the time you take out timber, screws, glue, mdf?, ongoing tools costs i.e. drill bits, a drill, elec screwdriver and some time to actually make them up you would probably be looking at a minimal hourly rate, unless you look at doing say a hundred.
I do know of people that could do this for less but add in the haulage and it would go back over your £23.
Could you not add value yourself?
Why not then finish them in different finishes/colours? would this not make them more financially attractive to your customers? Or how about buy one tortoise get a free box thingy? Just thinking off the hoof.
