I wondered if this might help BA? I had a problem with my Google Earth. It loaded a black screen with only the top tools bar. After fiddling I pressed the 'sign in button' top right, and it loaded. I have never done that before but it worked. I am not sure if you are even getting to that part black screen?

Google earth on the web relies on chrome, the main program may use parts of the chrome to load its maps, Etc. Just an idea
