They were selling 4ah batteries for £20 in my local store the other day and 2ah(ish) for less than a tenner. Not sure if they were compatible with these tools or not.

Kind of wish I had got into the kit a while back when they were cheap, could have picked up a few extra batteries and be good for years. Ah well.

Just in case, the power drill comes with a 2.5Ah battery. The grinder and saw include a larger battery (5 Ah)… Unfortunately these batteries and the matching charger are not compatible with the X20 batteries Parkside used previously...

They are still selling the old series batteries and charges in my Lidl for £18 for a charger and 2.0ah battery and £13 for a 2.0ah battery. I suspect that they will continue to do that for a while.

I wonder if with the new brushless series they still have that offer where when you bought a new tool that you could send away for a second battery at a cheap price carriage paid.

Was looking at the german site (which has online shopping facility) they have sold out of the drill already and the reviews are good. The new batteries are on the site to buy at 25 and 45 euros each 2.5 and 5ah. They also have a brushless performance series recip saw and oscillating tool out

Would be much better if they had a uk online shopping facility
