I’m currently completely perplexed, currently wiring in new ceiling light and can’t get it to work.

As you can see I’ve taken the switched live to live the neutral to neutral, earths to earth and the remaining 2 lives to choc block, but the light is still not working.

What have I got wrong please?

Forgot to turn the mains back on?
Tripped the lighting RCD?
Not stripped the cable?
Used a failed lamp in the holder

:welcomeuhm:

That's obviously the last light on a radial. Any other work been carried out on that circuit ?

Was the reason for replacing due to a non-working light/ceiling rose?
