Light switches don't have Live Neutral and Earth, if they did it would go BANG when you operate the switch.

So, what do your old switches say?

Picture would help, posting a picture info is in my signature.

I am not electrician but changed light switches in my home in the past by copying wiring from old to new switches.
L1 and COM is used on your old switch and you have those 2 connectors on your new switch. The yellow/green is earth but not on new plastic switch and can connect onto the back metal box. Make sure mains is off from consumer unit before doing the work.

You use L1 and L2 to control light from 2 switches as in head and foot of staircase.

the choice off l1 or l2 will dictate if it on /off in the up/in position

That is the important bit. The black is NOT a neutral in a lightswitch.
