Hi
Very new to this. Just moved in to this house and having googled for answers I came across a post on here with same prob as mine but can’t seem to locate it since I registered. Anyone know how to fix an error message on a Sime boiler please? It says AL 01. I’ve downloaded manual and the instructions start with errors on AL 02 and above. The boiler comes on for 5 mins then stops and I get this error message.

Working on anything electrical? have you got a multi meter? why not? Would you hit a nail with a shoe?

What Sime boiler is it?

AL01 appears to be a very generic fault code that would need to have an engineer in front of it to see what’s happening when it faults.

When and what is it doing/trying to do when it faults?

Any strange noises coming from it eg banging, bubbling, hissing etc etc?

I don’t think this will be one to be solved on a forum sadly
