Good afternoon, I am a new member and found you after searching for answers regarding Bosch GOP 250ce multi tool. This is now 17 Months old, it has had minimal work. It just slowed down and made a whining noise, checked brushes, seem ok. Put it back together, bingo, it worked for about thirty seconds then stopped and started to whine again. I thought I had registered for 36 Month warranty with Bosch, they say I did not. Even if I have not, surely a 36 Month warranty suggests it should last longer than 17 Months, any suggestions folks? Many thanks for your time in advance.

Is the whining noise the motor running with no drive to the blade?
There's a possible fix in this thread here

Many thanks for the reply, it is really strange, started it a minute ago sounded fine, drive to blade was ok, oscillating as it should even under load, then seconds later the whining started and the thing just lost power by about 65 % and stopped whining. Have sent Bosch an email, no response to date.
