I'd like to build a extension on a sloping site, with poor access to a main road.

- a 15m x 5m extension
- on a site sloping up from 0m to 1.5m.
- My guesstimate is that approx 70tons of earth required to excavate
- the only access is a 3' wide path, that turns through 90 degrees. It's about 50m to the main road on the path.

What would you expect to be the best method of excavation, and at what cost?

Other aspects of the build (foundations, tanking, retaining walls) would not seem to be constrained by the poor access, so I'm hoping costs will be fairly standard for those things. We've had concrete pumped in before without too much trouble. It's the excavation particularly that I feel may be costly.

thanks :-)
