Hello!

I have been using the forum for some great advice whilst doing up a 3 bed house in London E10. So thanks for that.

I am about to purchase the ECO RF 30 Combi and hand it over to my plumber to install.
We will have new rads but keeping existing pipework.

I was concerned about not receiving the extended warranty from a platinum installer.
Intergas confirmed over the phone that they will give the 10 year warranty without being installer by a "platinum".

Obviously I want it set up correctly.

1. Should I be concerned about clean pipes and pressure (as previously discussed in this forum)?

1a. Shall I go for complete new pipes?

2. Do I need to be concerned about my normal plumber being able to fit an Intergas?

2a. Do I need to tell my plumber to fit or prepare differently?

3. Should I use an Intergas fitter? (I already a little bit done the line with the "normal' plumber).

Razor.. I kneel at your feet...

Many thanks in advance.

As long as your boiler chap installs and commissions it to Intergas instructions, then fills out the Benchmark fully you should have no problems.

Anyone got any advise on question1... whether to go for all new pipes with this Intergas boiler?

Hey!!

Any Gas Safe registered fitter can get the ten year warranty at the moment as long as the boiler is registered with us within 30 days.

It can be done by post, online or using our new MiREG app which sorts all the paperwork and pays the fees for them!! Seen that Dave??

I'm with Dave, fit new rads then just get a hot and cold flush done to remove the flux etc. No need to replace any pipes

If you trust your guy then use him if not I can recommend some good guys over that way :salute:

Yes I have got mireg Razor.

Used it for the first time today to register a Eco rf 36.

Apart from my not being used to it, I found it quite easy to use. One or twi niggles I didnt like, but generally good.

Tenant's over the moon with the boiler. Fitted the cms927 with it. You do have to go into menu 8 to activate the optimisation though.

Was a bit worried about fitting it with all the bad press over on donut about the pipes fitting the valves etc and the flue locking ring as several seem to have a problem with on our other facebook page, but had no problems, boiler slipped in nicely on the bracket and pipes just slipped into compressions on valves with no problems without removing the nuts

I just replied to this in the wrong post.

Perhaps a mod would be kind enough to move it to the other intergas combi post?

I blame sitting in the pub posting! Ha ha
