Hi,

I am painting my baby by nursery a very light grey and there seems to be parts of the wall that are not absorbing the paint. Have done 2 coats already but there are streaks and bloches that look like they haven't been touched. Just wondering if someone can advise what I need to do.

Previous wall colour was white and now I'm painting it a very very light grey.

Please see pictures attached, you can see the streaks where the colour isn't catching.

Thanks

Hard to tell from the picture, but is the paint not absorbing or is it dispersing from the areas altogether?

Hi, it's disappearing because I am definitely going over the affected areas. I'll try and post a better picture shortly

please see below picture. There is no other way for me to show defect. This is a close up of the wall. I was thinking of sanding down the walls in these parts and giving a few additional coats?
