Could any one please tell me what this noise could be from. Boiler making a hell of a racket. Thought initially it was the fan catching, tried with a spare a still making he same noise. Worrying thing can smell gas. Think possibly could be the gas valve but why can I smell gas? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks

Don't know 100% but sounds like a combustion problem, which could also be why you can smell gas.

Personally I would bite the bullet and get Baxi in on a fixed price repair.

Combustion is not adjustable on these so parts have to be replaced.
