Need some electrical help. When I go down a hill in low gear the spanner light comes on. Doesn't matter which gear. It does it when the speed of the car is at its maximum for the gear I'm in. Thinking a sensor but which one I don't know. Any ideas?

Get it scaned for codes, otherwise your urinating in the wind, if you loading the engine hard you will kill the engine in the long run

It could be anything, remember a sensor is telling you there is a issue, Don't go aiming the parts cannon at it based on a code

Got it scanned. Came back with 'P2297 - H02S Performace during deceleration fuel cut-off sensor 1'. Googled it and it seems like the 02 sensor is the culprit. I've tried to find one to fit my car but its nigh on Impossible to get one, found one for £103 not incl postage which is far too over priced considering they're usually £20-£40.

You will not get a decent one for under £70, the cheap chinese tat ones fail in 6 months

Oem, Bosch or NTK

the code is telling you the issue not the problem, P2297 is out of range, Its cutting fuel due to engine loading, change your driving style, Avoid the high load down shifts and use the brakes a bit more

Think were I've had the car remapped it's obviously too much for the sensors to handle. But then again I had it mapped a few months ago and this problem has only started happening. I'll take the sensor out and have a look and go from there.
