Hi
I just replaced my wall mounted shower mixer tap, there is a gap between wall tile and mixer shroud. The previous one was filled with silicone but don't like it. Is there any colour match rubber washer to fit or even a compromise like a rubber seal to cut and fit there?
I filled both holes between cold/hot water pipes and tile with silicone so the area is watertight.

Whatever you decide to do don't seal it up at the bottom as the top is never going to be 100% watertight (the grout isn't) at the top. What goes in must come out or it'll make it's way elsewhere.

Agree, only the top half is important plus bottom half is not visible as such.

Why don't you just turn the shroud so it closes the gap to the wall, then a thin bead of clear silicone to seal the top

I have turned the shroud as far as it goes. I think as you said I will just clear silicon and job done.
