Hi, not woodwork I'm afraid but still joinery. The UPVC handles on my front door are loose. I've looked on You tube and there are plenty of clips but they all have 2 screws holding the plate on. Mine has none front or back. How do they come off. The handles and the whole plate also containing the lock are loose. Thanks

Are there any tiny grub screws on the underside of the handles either front or back? Sometimes there is and that holds the handle onto the spindle.

No grub screws. All I can see is a tiny slot at the bottom of the assembly, about the size of a electrical terminal screwdriver blade but can't see anything inside. It doesn't seem to be a one-off as all the flats are fitted with the same handles. The only brand name I can see is on the main locking mechanism, SKG

Is it possibly a cover-plate, which would lever off with a screwdriver used in that slot? :dunno:

Pics might help.
