Hoping someone can help...

I have today replaced the plastic light switches in my bedroom with stainless still ones, something I have done many times before.

However today I didn't take a photo of the wires setup in the old switch and it appears I may have got one of wires in the wrong terminal. Basically I have an en-suite shower room to the bedroom and it has a double switch, one switch turns on the light and the other switch activates the ceiling fan.

The wiring is such that I have a black sleeved brown wire and a further brown wire in one of the L1 terminals, one brown wire in the other L1 terminal and then there are two further brown wires in the COM terminal with a link brown wire to the other COM terminal in addition.

This is creating the problem that the single bedroom light switch will only work when the en-suite fan switch is on. However if when off the fan stays on albeit at a lower setting.

My assumption is that one of the wires in the COM terminal should be in the L1 terminal?

Next time I won't forget the photo!! Any help greatly appreciated.

Never helps with the loop at the switch... when you have multiple lives/switched lives.
