Hi All

first time posting here but I'm in need of some advice.

I building a slab base for a shed however the ground I am building it on is quite sloped, the difference from left to right is easily 4 inches and it us up against a grass edge.

I was going to dig it all down to be level however if I did that the doors wouldn't open properly because they would catch the grass on one side due to the slope so I'm guessing that I will need to raise the lowest end but then I will have a step on one side and not the other and it will start to involve brick work (I sell cars for a living I don't do much DIY)

my OH suggested a wooden sleeper in the lowest end to raise it up which seemed like a good idea at first but that part of the garden gets very boggy during the winter as the water runs off the slope and gathers at the bottom so I am worried that it will rot very quickly.

do I need to go all out and use bricks? does anyone have any better suggestions?

thank you

Oliver
