Can anyone recommend something ideally for both a felt and EPDM roof ?
The EPDM roof is new, the felt (torch-on) was laid about a year ago, so no leaks or standing water problems, just a desire to make them both last a bit longer.

Thanks for any help !

There are solar reflective paints: I have no idea how effective they are.

What I want to achieve is a longer lasting roof.
There are a few products that can be applied to a felt roof to reduce the heat build-up on a sunny day.
There are a few for an EPDM roof too.
I was hoping to find out if anyone knows of one product that can be applied to both or do I need to get 2 separate products..

These sort of things -

I have used them on felt roofs and they seem to work.

I was once told by a flat roof specialist at, in those days British Railways, that the sun affects flat roofs and their coverings badly therefore solar reflective paint was developed. I used the paint Cromar I think, on two shed roofs several years ago and it is still there although I should give it another coat. It seems to make the felt flexible. Being a tight wad I only ever use cheap roofing felt (the underlay type) and the roofs have lasted at least eight years.

No experience on EPDM roofs, sorry.
