I found this which is a really good little tool to avoid using Promap (cost) which I thought I would share.

If you have a bit of land you can measure the acreage for free. It is also capable of zooming in close to work out square metres of a garden for fertilizer spread. It is fun to use anyway :thumbright:

You zoom in on the map and stretch the edges to form the boundary and it is done. A bit tricky but you soon suss it out.

See https://www.mapdevelopers.com/area_finder.php

How appropriate..... I've just enquired about purchasing more land around my place and that utility makes measurement so easy :thumbright:

Given that similar land costs between 44p and 93p per square metre  (cheap.... innit  ) we should be getting ourselves a decent bargain.

It is pretty accurate too. I was playing around with it and I measured my garden which I know the square meterage of and it was very close. I have never been totally sure on my field area and again it came out to a figure close to what I have always reckoned the acreage to be.
