Does anyone on the forum have any discount codes for ffx?
I remember someone mentioning 5% ones a wee while ago.
Gonna buy the dewalt nailer naked so a discount code would come in handy!

Just spoke to the wife of the guy who own ffx. Apparently they bought it in October 2015 and were unaware the odd code was given out on UHM by the member FFX.
Would explain why he's not been around recently???

Why do you think he got the bullet because of that? Surely not?

No,not at all. Maybe the company got restructured or he maybe left when it was taken over.
The lady I spoke to via messenger said they'd have the marketing director have a look at maybe putting some offers or discount codes on the forum,so we'll wait and see.

Just bought the bare nailer from ffx. They were the cheapest of the bunch this week. The dewalt prices are slowly creeping up of late on all products I've noticed.

I spent part of today looking for the best price on a Makita jigsaw, battery and a systainer and while FFX were close it was Anglia Tools who came out best, and there was a small discount voucher for them too !
Looking forward to a knock on the door tomorrow.

I have to say that it is a shame in some ways how we go for the cheapest price - I have bought a lot from FFX, but also DM Tools, Anglia, Screwfix etc and while I stick with names with a good reputation and that might sponsor forums I will check out each before I order..
