I am thinking of learning plumbing skills initially for the purpose of doing plumbing work in my household. More specifically I am planning to fit a new bathroom suite next year so i thought I might have sufficient time to learn the skills. The local college (Macclesfield) doesnt seem t offer a plumbing course so I have been looking at various others. I have noticed some online courses such as this one http://www.accesstraininguk.co.uk/plumb ... ing-course but am not sure if they are good enough? Do you guys recommend anything in particular? Anything I need to keep in mind? Please bear in mind that i have very little basic knowledge of plumbing world.

Rip off. These days it is fairly straight forward to plumb with push fit fittings and the like. You can have a good read up on the basics with a bit of Googling and this forum will always be able to guide and answer questions. We like to see someone having a go at a project themselves. Have a look through the UHM video tutorials on Youtube.

Save your money on the training and put it towards your project :thumbright:
