Have a look at the picture and give me your honest opinion please

I have an idea that I could somehow make a shelter in between the fence and my shed.

the shed runs paralell with the fence for 10ft and there is 3ft in between the 2.

What I was thinking of doing was getting some sort of guttering to also run along whatever I put up to catch any rainwater and feed it into a water butt.

I want to avoid excessive amounts of rainwater going on the fence or the shed.

The idea is to make a covered storage area.

The floor is gravel by the way.

I will attach the picture - what would you do?

the easiest way off doing it ts to tuck plywood under the lip and carry on at a simmilar slope towards the fence stopping 3 inches into a gutter

alternativly assuming the fence is yours attach to the posts just above the fence panel height and meet at the slope of the shed 3" appart same height with guttering underneath

Have you considered moving the shed to make a more usable space, say move it 2ft and you have more options.
What is on the other side of the shed, can you move it, what is the shed sitting on.
Or move the shed closer to the fence and build on the other side?

Think of all your options.

the shed aint moving! its taken up as much of the lawn as I want to lose.
I like Big All's suggestion - similar to how I was thinking Big All (same angle as shed roof)

its a shared fence as far as I am aware

Im even thinking of knocking together a 2.5' x 10' sort of shed - at a push I reckon I could shift it when fence treatment time comes a calling!

Somebody at work has suggested a corrugated plastic cover from the fence sloping down to meet the shed and a gutter on shed

I'd prefer some sort of timber cover with felt perhaps to protect it and look more 'shed like'

I've also got it in my head that I could put some sort of gate/door at the side of it to finish it off.

What do you think? :dunno:

You can use a bitumised corrugated roof over a timber frame. wickes does it in green or black and will still look shed like. you could make a gate or door to fit once its up. :thumbleft: Good luck.
