Hi Folks!

Im having trouble finding a replacement battery for my Axminster 24v Mitresaw.

At Axminster they no longer stock this tool or the battery so now the batteries im using have faded alot meaning less time where using it, I would really appreciate if any1 could point me in the right direction here as to where I could get another battery for this.

Thanks

Tony :thumbright:

Is this the one:

http://www.axminster.co.uk/recno/5/prod ... 284692.htm

If it is, I have just clicked to add to basket and it added it, so must be available.

Thanks guys for the replys

No, i tryed the actual site before and its a different battery, not sure if it will fit my tool or not? the battery i have is 24v 3.0ah which they no longer do.

I never knew you could have them recelled as they call it, never thought of that? im sure its something to do with the cold which drains them when not in use. :angryfire:

nicad batteries last between 2 and 10 years
a battery in constant light use will last longest if its carefully run down 95% and charged fully then reused within a couple off weeks
you must never charge a nicad before its 90-95% flat

a heavy used battery will last the next longest

a little used battery will fail the quickest as it needs to cycle at least once a month

and yes batteries like to operate between around 10 and 40 degree internal teperature
