Just been looking at a catalogue ,manual lawn mowers the ones you push non electric, are they any good,i always get p off using the electric mower sorting out the cables ext etc.

It depends if your lawn is the size of Old Trafford.

Yes, I had one in the past in my first house that had a small garden. Got a nice stripe affect with the rollers. The trick is to keep the cylinder well adjusted to the cutting bar and well lubricated. It should glide along with little effort. The down side is that they do not tackle long grass very well. I ended up with a cheap fly mow style electric and used both as necessary.

I must admit I would look at a cheap petrol as you can get them for under £100.

Taking an extra couple of mins to wind up cables properly can save all the hassle of knots and tangles....

The time it takes to sort out the ext cable then the mower, i think i would have it done by using a manual mower.
