I need to change out a faulty combined convector/storage heater 3.4 KW as the storage is not working. They are all about 20 years old so not bad service i guess. I do not know much about the various makes but there seems to be quite a price difference on say ELnur Versus Dimplex. So I would wlecome any feedback on preferred models and why.

to me they all actually do about the same. the difference is usually in the build quality.

Unidare tend to have poorly finished metalwork on the interior wheres Dimplex doesn't.

in my own experience, Dimplex/Creda tend to have a far better finish and maybe a very slightly better heat seal but i really doubt you would be able to feel the difference.

as for other brands like the one you mention, i am out of touch with newer models and have never heard of that make.
