Hi chaps i do not use my car much but it u :help: sually starts no problem anyway i took it for a long drive the other day no problems i thought by taking it on a long drive it would give the battery a extra boost but went out the other night inside windscreen mist had to use fan heater for a while to heat the windscreen, i stopped at the the shops then when i came back noticed when starting the battery was struggling a little bit, so drove for a couple of miles popped into my mates came back to car flat as a pancake.Called breakdown jumpstarted no problem he also checked the alternator said it was the battery . just like your opinion i was thinking because i dont use it much and i was using the f heater and radio lights and because of the very cold weather i was drawing to much juice from the battery and maybe if i charge the battery it would do the job? thankyou i know its a bit long winded.

Could be a collapsed cell in the battery, especially if the electrolyte has been allowed to get low.

If you've got a charger, id put it on charge for a bit and see if that works.

If its gone flat enough not to start the car after only a couple of uses on short journeys, its probably time for a new battery.

I replace battery at the first sign of trouble. Cant be doing with it when it flat

Sometimes an indicator of a poorly battery, put your lights on, rev the engine, do they get a bit brighter when you rev, due to the slightly increased alternator output.
