I need to buy a decent mixer for plaster (also for tiling grout and mortar).

I've narrowed the choices to:

Berg EHR160BEL
Berg EHR130BEL
Perles ME1250E
Belle - Promix 1600E.

Any comment or recommendations greatly appreciated.

Please confine replies to only these models; I really don't want to start researching new models (unless it's the ultimate).

Thank you, chaps.

Grant.

I used to have a perles drill and I did not rate it to be honest.

And Belle seem to have general quality issues.

I'll move this post to the plastering forum and see what the pro's think.

I've had Refina drill for about 15 years with no problems, have also got a Collomix drill about 10 years without a hitch and then bought another Collomix about 2 weeks ago and the safety switch jammed after 2 days and now it doesn't always stop when you release the switch, so that will be going back :angryfire:

Hi Andy, take it too bits and remove the safety switch. I've got the c60 and had the same problem 1st day. The switch is a waste of time and dangerous if it don't cut out, Good strong mixers though. Seem to remember you buying the C10.
