Hello.
My toilet has not been emptying the contents properly and the water seems to eddy around in the pan.
The water level in the pan is higher the other WC's i have seen so i looked at the pipe going out of the pan into the soil pipe and it looks like it goes uphill a tad.
There isnt much room in the toilet as it is about the size of a cubicle so i cant really get a good look but i have got 2 photo's to look at.
Any advice on what is needed to fix this would be a great help.
Vince

Looks fine to me, I would check for a partial blockage.

What size cistern is it. (Water content.)

Thanks for replying.

There ia already a block of wood under the pan.
The cistern is 9ltr.
When you flush the cistern the water goes to about 2 inch's from the rim and sometimes i can hear gurgling. The water takes 30 secs to go down to normal but as said before the water level is about 5/6 inch's from the bottom of the pan.
The photo doesn't see the whole of the pan as the level out of the pan outlet seems to go up a little.

Put another couple of blocks under, then you can dangle your legs like that bloke out of minder (pretent the toilet is giant).

Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune, etc.....

I would suspect a blockage in the soil pipe going through the wall. A build up of carp at this point could act as a dam creating an artificialy high, standing water level in the pan base. The slightly "up hill" pan connector would make little diference to the water level.

I want the side of the pan not the waste pipe.

Can be slightly from the front.

Good enough, I just wanted to see whether it was a siphonic pan or not.

You have a blockage.

Check the nearest inspection chamber, could also be a birds nest in the vent pipe, but check the chamber first.

I have checked the chamber and its ok.
I cant get to the top of the soil pipe to check for nests but had a look through binoculars and no signs of a nest.

You could try flexible rods towards the stack.

I would give the pan a good old plunging with a floor mop and see how it goes from there
