[i]Hi, can anyone help please? Our downstairs loo keeps flushing on its own any time of day or night. Its an ideal standard push button variety. We think there is a leak in the cistern but having taken the lid off the cistern we can't see what's wrong. :help:

Internal overflow. Will dribble into the pan for a while then self flush when the cistern fills too much.

Change/repair the float valve.
