I have a duel flushing toilet which keeps runnung after flushing... I know how to get the top off thanks to previous posts but don't know what to do once I get the top off, any ideas? Thanks!

If continually running you need to adjust the inlet valve to lower the water level, If it runns for a while then stops there's probably a bit of grit/scum around the base of the flush mechanism...

Either way a pic or two with the lid off will help..
