I have got a quote to replace my current old boiler with a Logic or Logic +. When he gave me the quote he didn't mention putting a magnaclen(or equivalent) unit on I asked about it and he said it would be £150 to add a Magnaclean.

He didn't seem to think it was very important to have one because he was going to clean out the system. My question is should I have one fitted or not ?

If I get the Logic+ I was told it gives 7 year warranty as long as the boiler is service every year.

I always fit a Magnaclean as standard.

You will never get a system 100% clean when flushing, 85% perhaps on a good day.

The Magnaclean will help catch the rest of the muck and keep the system as clean as possible in the future, as well as helping to protect your 7 year warranty.
