Hi guys,
After removing my old tiles, which was right pain as the people who stayed in the house before us has had simply tiled on top of old tiles. :cussing: This made taking them off a right nightmare and as a result I am going to have to replace sections of plasterboard with Gyproc wallboard. A few expletives were vented there way in the process.

When it comes to tiling is it ok to just simply apply the tile adhesive on top of the gyproc? Or do you have to apply any coating to the Gyproc first?

Thanks

You'll need to tank out the boards first if they are gonna be in an area with high humidity or in a bathroom i.e tiles used in shower cubicles.

It's for the kitchen so humidity should be fine. Can you tell me what "Tanking" is anyway?

Cheers

Tanking is a way of waterproofing areas, such as shower cubicles.
