Ive got a room todo for a friend which has two walls which are breeze block at present.

Ive seen tough coat empty bags on site before, but never seen it applied.

I was tempted to use it as the finish seemed good. How is it usually applied? Is it like a one coast S+C render? Where you trowel it on, flatten it out, then devil float it once its going firm?

yeh.. basically, its better than hardwall on lightweight blocks... still might need a bit of gyprime first though.... excessive wetting of the blocks prior to application may cause the blocks to crack cos theyll just drink it...
