You really think it would have taken 2 of them 1 hour and 45mins longer to do an area about the size of 2 double beds? Oh and in this 15 mins they put a seal round the loft hatch.
In two hours the could have moved my stuff, moved the boards, laid the insulation and replaced the boards EASILY!!!

....and of course Google is never wrong!

There's no way on earth they would have scheduled 2 hours for a loft that size. An hour max for a two man team, and that includes a brew and traveling to the next job.

The fact remains that if you had done your bit - and whether or not you're telling the truth about not being told by your landlord to clear the loft any idiot would know that it needed doing - then you would have had a whole loft insulated. IF the job had then been crap, then you might have had grounds for complaint.

Even then it would be down to your landlord to decide on the quality of the job, they're paying - not you.

2 men could do an average terraced house without obstacles in the way in half an hour EASY.
2 hours!!! Aye right, but if that's what Google told you it must be correct.

I must warn you of the dangers of storing a turbo jet bike in the loft - not only is it a fire hazard, but mine leaked jet fuel leaving a stain on the bedroom ceiling which I just cannot get rid of.

Yes, and the LANDLORD would usually be paying for it.

At last! Someone else has noticed - but been ignored.

I was going to mention it earlier, but changed my mind what with the way this topic took a turn for the worse.

Guys whether it's a good job or not or you think the OP doesn't deserve better makes no difference in my eyes.

It's really against the spirit of this forum to flame a new poster, particularly a woman. Perhaps we could've been a bit more constructive rather than all jumping on the bandwagon eh??

A little disappointed tonight
