What a shame that her family are such a bunch of trailer trash. You would think that Hollywood would have stepped in and replaced her family with a fine array of actors who could act appropriately and Christopher Plummer could be drafted in to play her father. This would save face all round for both the USA and the Royal family.

You can see it now where her brother get pissed and starts a fight as someone makes a racist comment that sets it all off. We always do events like this well but there is some pretty poor material to work with this time. The wedding is a showcase to the World and there are many people who will enjoy this. I know there will be the usual moans from the anti royalist brigade being smug and saying I will not watch it and Mrs D will have to tape it as we are going to Colchester on Saturday.

The Windsor's on channel 4 / All 4 is worth a watch

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-windsors

The worst wedding I have seen in real life was 2 traveller family's, that end with police in full riot gear and a wrecked pub

Getting more like a daytime soap opera as time passes.

I wonder if Charlie boy will question the non-presence of the grooms father at the event.........

Well, I ended up watching and I actually enjoyed it apart from the Bishop from the states going on and on for 15 minutes. Apparently he went off his agreed script and the time shift was a worry for the planners to keeping it all on schedule. But in the main it all went very well and it showed how we can do events like this the best in the world. There were spectacular scenes of Windsor and it was well attended. The horseman on the naughty grey who wanted to canter all the time rather than trot was a talented rider. The carriage driver also did a good job controlling one of the horses in harness who was skittish.

The BBC were doing their level best to drag every brown face they could onto the screen for pointless interviews. I felt a bit sorry for her mum who sat on her own, they could have given her an escort of some sort. But all in a lovely display of middle England out in the sunshine enjoying the event. Just like at all the major events it shows that there are more decent folk than arseholes.

Only saw the highlights though the other half and her mates watched the whole thing at a sort of girlie party. I did have to giggle at the ceremony where , at a wedding costing over £30 million , they still include the line "for richer or POORER "

Watched some of it... then had to do an "emergency" repair to our cooker hood...

It wouldn't switch off. :cussing:

Superglue obviously isn't what it was, coz that didn't work...

3 hours later a modesty block and a screw, sorted. ::b ::b
