|
|
|
Hi all,
another stupid question from me
I looked at different shops for plasterboard and the prices vary sometime quite a lot.
Is there a real difference between plasterboard from different manufactures?
(Of course assuming it is the same spec size, thickness, TE, etc...)
Or is it ok to just go for the cheapest offer i can find?
Thanks!

Plasterboard is normally only made by the big players, although it may be rebranded slightly. I'd guess that they are all pretty much similar and so I'd go for any of them.
I must admit though thaat I have only ever used Gyproc or Lafarge in the past. _________________ DIY | DIY Video |

| my local builders shop changed over from gyproc to lafarge a while back. today i was boarding a ceiling and the boards seemed very poor. the backing peeled off very easily and they seemed to be a lot more brittle than usual. theyve been stored inside and havent got damp. |
