The Imax cinema in Glasgow is showing this film. Its the first time that a major film has been partially shot using Imax cameras.

Sounds and looks mind blowing :thumbright:

I think I will book myself a seat.

the film itself i thoroughly enjoyed, after using 4 free tickets to the older cinema in Derby i left this report on the Odeon site: -

A lot of thought has gone into this film. An added authority to Batman by Christian Bale, well acted. Whenever Morgan Freeman is requested to play a part the film already demands the respect of watching it. Michael Caine always brings a touch of class to any production. Now to the real star of the show, despite the numerous starlight names acting in this film, Heath Ledger playing "The Joker" sets this particular Batman film as one of the best produced. To date, including the likes of Jack Nicholson, nobody has ever played the role of "The Joker" as well. He has pushed "The Dark Night" to the forefront of blockbusters.

Our only disappointment was that the experience was diminished by the continuous position rearranging we had to do due to the very uncomfortable seating and these were the Premier Seats!!!! The arm rests start too far back which means you have to put your drink on the floor to be able to rest your arm across the cup holder (very uncomfortable). Four of us sat to watch this film and four of us sighed a relief to stand up to shake off the numbness that had set in from the rock like seating.
