We've been with Talk-Talk since 2010, current broadband is copper, includes free evening (after 7 PM)landline calls weekdays and free weekend calls (UK). Currently get on average 14 Mbps.. basic charge each month (inc. line rental) £30.45... plus any call charges. average about £ 36 per month.

I've just switched to their latest offer (which expires in 5 days)

Fibre to cabinet, Guaranteed minimum speed of 35 Mbps, unlimited downloads, all UK calls included (inc mobile, excluding premium rate)
No set up fee , so new router FOC, 18 month contract...

£25 per month.

Available to anyone either switching supplier or already with Talk-Talk.

18 month contract. includes line rental.

EDIT. after 18 months it's an additional £ 7.50 per month for the anytime call deal.

Must sign up in the next 5 days though.

The reason I ask is my VM contract is due to expire in August and might shop around. I haven't had a problem with VM and I like their broadband and as you all know because it's fibre it doesn't lose any speed. I have 100mb and max out at 104mb. Previously I had Sky's 20mb and got around 14mb. The only reason I might shop around is in case VM don't give me another offer. I've no intention of spending £60 for this as their TV is shite and I have no need for their phone.

My parents had Talk Talk several years ago. Every time they made a phone call it wouldn't connect the first time but always the second. Eventually they moved but Talk Talk messed up and they lost their phone number they had for over 40 years.

So if they're still shite I'll avoid them.
