Hi Everyone,

I am having trouble at the moment trying to tighten up a 7mm hex screw on a "jubilee clip" in a very tight area. The problem is that due to the angle the socket keeps slipping off the screw. I have been trying to find a 7mm hex socket with a swiveling ball joint without much luck.

Anyone have any ideas where i could find one of these? And what sort of price i would be looking at paying?

Thanks,
Tom

Due to the situation its in, i have actually got the tool which is something like a wrench, but you twist it instead. The area im working in is a pipe about 8" wide, and 2ft deep, so you can't use a traditional wrench. The angle on the tool i have is just not quite enough which is why im just after the socket.

I have found something like what i would need made by Snap-On but the smallest size they do is a 10mm.

I did see those actually, but i don't think it would be any good, the gap is very small

iff you look at the link chain immediatlly below the search box it says

"Catalog Index 1/4" Drive 1/4" Drive Impact Swivel Sockets / Flank Drive Impact Swivel Sockets / Flank Drive Shallow Swivel, mm Shallow Swivel, mm"

so its within a 1/4" search

Undo it and move it around so that it is accessible. Sometimes things are a bugggger to do up but easy to undo.
