Hey guys

I've come across some sunken garden lights from a large fancy apartment block. They are really big and heavy H35cm and D27cm. See photos.

I'm wondering if I can wire them up to an ordinary wall plug with an on/off switch? I was thinking of having them as industrial corner living room lights.

Alternatively are they worth anything and I could sell them?

Many thanks for any help!

Rach x

Something is only worth what some one else is willing to pay for it.

They are not ordinary lamps, they need some "switchgear" but that said it may (probably) be in the bottom of the fitting.
You could try putting a plug on one, but I think they will be "a bit on the bright side" for use indoors.
Do fully assemble them / one before you plug it in and make sure you don't crush the flex.

You could try putting them up for sale / auction, but I doubt you will get much for them since they are 2nd hand and grubby, and contractors will only install brand new.
