Hi All,

I wonder if anybody can help,
We have had quite a few new buildings erected on a number of various sites, a few of these are rendered with the "STO" render system, now one of our buildings which is quite a few years old is showing signs of significant wear and tear plus numerous areas of impact damage and water damage, (some of these buildings are major hospitals)
Now i cannot for the life of me find anybody who is interested in repair work of this nature, and these mineral plaster companies will only sell to accredited installers who again are not interested in patch work plus the customer services of "STO" is absolutely terrible.
So i wondered if anybody knew of any local installers or similar compatible mineral type plasters

Thanks in advance

Leebwk

I would try Weber's technical advice /samples service.

http://www.netweber.co.uk/renders-decor ... ishes.html

Then find a local plastering firm who are familiar with these products. OR vice-versa.

Hi Jozeffo,

Ironically we have another one of our buildings that have this product and we have trouble with this, it does seem that no is interested in repair work, even in this climate, plus these manufacturers will only supply to accredited installers

Cheers

Trouble is mate if you patch it it's almost impossible to get an identical colour match. I've turned down several similar small repair jobs on Weber pral couche for the same reason. It quite often cracks under stress points, windows etc.

Hi All the gear,

Thanks for the reply,
We are not to bothered about the colour match as we can get round that it's just the repairs that we are more concerned with (mostly impact damage and water damage)

Thanks

Should the stress points be reinforced with EML or similar to prevent this type of cracking?
