I thought that placing little white silicone in gaps:



... will solve water evaporation and accumulation problem in plastic bulb's compartment but i still have it (see that little water level at the bottom?):



I have cracks in some of plastic's corners that have screws. Look at all 4 corners:

is this your fish tank? we replaced ours for about 50 quid a while back as the old one was proving a bit too small for us. the one we bought came complete with flourescent lights etc.

might be better for you to just save a small amount up and go buy a new one.

You are the second person suggesting new fishtank, but new one will cost ~$200 given it is 10 gallons.

A quid is a pound..A squid is
Squid are cephalopods of the order Teuthida, which comprises around 300 species. Like all other cephalopods, squid have a distinct head, bilateral symmetry, a mantle, and arms. Squid, like cuttlefish, have eight arms arranged in pairs and two, usually longer, tentacles. Squid are strong swimmers and certain species can 'fly' for short distances out of the water

Don't ever get the two confused...
