Hi,
I am thinking of getting stainless steel splash backs for my miniscule kitchen (sink, cooker and general worktop area).
What is the best way of going about this?
Should I get a fabrication company to visit, measure up and provide a price to fit??

If its a simple measureup job, and you confident of getting it right, measure it up, and pop into a few sheet metal/fabrication shops.

Quite simple stuff to fit with minimal tools, as long as its made right.

SOme places do off the shelf splashbacks, but youll have to have a look around for the sizes.

Just a word of warning here-

stainless steel is a real pain in the arse to keep clean.

I bought this piece of stainless from ebay-

I had it cut to the exact size and then just glued it to the wall with grab adhesive, but it was a real pain in the butt keeping it clean.

I never tried that to be honest.

It was especially difficult if you used a frying pan as it would splash on the stainless and be difficult to remove.
