hmmm robbing gits, anyone that can claim more in expenses than thier annual salary should be tarred and feathered..... not saying i wouldnt if i could get away with it, but theres no way in hell i would get away with it.

Of course it's legal and above board and provided they follow the rules (or don't get caught) they'll avoid a stretch at HM's pleasure.

It's reckoned that an MEP - if they take advantage of all the benefits and expenses available to them - should be a millionaire by the time their 5 year term ends.

So if your boss says this is your job and these are the benifits available.come on lets be honest here :roll:
I dont blame the MP's,If my boss said this is your expence package I would take full advantage of it,It's the system that needs to be changed

Point is though, these "Expenses," should come out of someone's wallet/purse, before they are allowed to claim them back. So if they ain't a millionaire already, then they can't afford the expenses in the first place.
That'd stop them in their tracks. As for Maggie, she claims more in expenses than some people will earn in their entire lifetime. A sorry state of affairs.
