I think the Magistrate probably took into account that had it been someone elses lead the dealer wouldn't have mentioned it to the authorities... :lol:

or perhaps the man got his roof fixed by the insurance and he paid the lad the scrap value for the lead before shopping him to the police.

Just hope the scrap man is a big fellow because the young lad now knows where he works and where he lives :lol:
