i had a 2 storey extension done about 8-9 years ago now
the room on the 2nd floor is single brick with two outer facing walls
i have a bad problem with the 2 outer walls sweating (inc 2 double glazed windows) now that it is winter
i leave the windows open in the mornings to get circulation & closed evenings after which sweating returns
i am confident this is not a rising damp problem just condensation from hot n cold sufaces
i am considering buying a small dehumidifier which is not exactly cheap, if i do will this solve the problem?
is there anything else i can do? or is this not condendsation?

Hi Zahmed,

As you say, sounds like condensation to me, dehumidifier and ventilation!
